Abstract:

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 seeks to transform India's education system by integrating AI to enhance inclusivity, accessibility, and relevance. AI technologies, such as adaptive learning platforms and intelligent tutoring systems, offer personalized learning experiences, reduce administrative burdens, and support teachers with data-driven insights. This paper explores how AI aligns with NEP 2020’s objectives, examines the benefits of AI integration, and addresses the challenges and policy implications involved. By focusing on infrastructure development, ethical AI practices, continuous teacher training, and public-private partnerships, the study provides recommendations for effectively incorporating AI into the educational framework, ensuring a dynamic and equitable learning environment for all students.
