Abstract
The rapid growth of mobile technologies has reshaped how academic libraries deliver information services. Mobile-based library services enable students and faculty to access library resources anytime and anywhere, supporting flexible learning and enhancing research productivity. This paper examines the concept, development, advantages, challenges, and future prospects of mobile library services within academic environments. It also highlights user expectations, system usability concerns, and the essential keywords—mobile library, academic library services, mobile applications, digital access, and user engagement. Findings suggest that mobile-enabled services strengthen information accessibility, but require sustainable technological investment, continuous user training, and strong digital infrastructure.
