Abstract
India is now a top place for medical tourism since it offers high-quality healthcare at a far lower cost than Western countries. This article examines the primary factors driving the expansion of medical tourism in India, such as the presence of proficient healthcare professionals, advanced medical infrastructure, affordable treatments, and a wide array of procedures ranging from elective surgeries to traditional Ayurvedic therapies. The research also looks at the problems the sector is having, like problems with regulations, language limitations, and worries about post-operative care. The effects of medical tourism on India's economy and healthcare system are also looked at, showing both the good things and the bad things that could happen. The essay ends with suggestions for long-term growth and a better experience for international patients, making India a global centre for affordable and cutting-edge medical treatment.
