Abstract
The fashion business has grown to be a significant global economic sector where brand identification, creativity, and innovation are vital. The importance of intellectual property rights (IPR) in safeguarding designs, brands, and creative expressions has grown dramatically with the quick expansion of fashion markets and technological developments. With an emphasis on how legal frameworks like copyright, trademark, design protection, and geographical indications protect fashion-related products, this paper explores the evolution and evolution of intellectual property rights in the fashion sector. The study examines the difficulties the fashion industry faces, such as digital infringement, rapid fashion replication, design piracy, and counterfeiting. It also looks at how legal frameworks have changed to deal with these problems and give fashion firms and creators sufficient protection.
