Abstract

In India, where countless cultures and faiths intertwine, rituals bloom like timeless flowers in the garden of history and traditions deeply intertwined with nature. While numerous of these practices emphasize harmony with the terrain, some contemporary instantiations have led to ecological imbalances.
This paper explores the binary impact of religious practices on India's terrain, looking at ancient teachings that support caring for the environment, the paper shows how they can help with today’s ecological problems and ultramodern rituals that inadvertently contribute to pollution. By assaying colorful religious training and their interpretations, the paper aims to punctuate the need for a balanced approach that honors artistic traditions while securing the terrain for unborn generations.
